Cancellation Policy

At HP Laptop Service Center, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our service technicians.

Service Appointment Cancellations

You may cancel your service appointment at any time before the scheduled service time:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will receive a full refund of any advance payment.
  • Cancellations made between 2-24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment or no-shows may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

In-Progress Service Cancellations

If you wish to cancel a service that has already begun:

  • If diagnostic work has been completed but no repair work has started, you will be charged only for the diagnostic fee.
  • If repair work has begun, you will be charged for the time and materials used up to the point of cancellation.
  • If parts have been ordered specifically for your repair, you may be responsible for the cost of those parts if they cannot be returned.

Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our work and want you to be completely satisfied with our services.

Service Refunds

Refunds for services rendered are considered on a case-by-case basis:

  • If you are unsatisfied with a repair, please contact us within 7 days of service completion to discuss your concerns.
  • If we determine that the issue was not resolved satisfactorily, we will either reattempt the repair at no additional cost or provide a refund for the service portion of your payment.
  • Refunds for parts may be provided if the parts are returned in original condition and are eligible for return to our suppliers.

Warranty Claims

All our repairs come with a warranty as specified at the time of service:

  • If the same issue recurs during the warranty period, we will repair it at no additional cost.
  • Warranty does not cover new issues or damage caused by accidents, liquid spills, power surges, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Warranty becomes void if the device is opened or serviced by unauthorized personnel.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
  • For cash payments, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or company check.
  • Please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your financial institution.
